Many times followers sprinkle the Gangajal on their walls in home after morning prayers to purify it. Some people add a few drops to their bath water, thinking it purifies the body and clears the mind. Devotees also give the Gangajal to gods in home temples and during religious ceremonies. It’s on a special-appreciation list for life’s major rituals, like birth and marriage, especially death rites. On a human being’s demise, a few drops of Ganga.
